A blunt copy of the wikipedia idea built on nostr by nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft
Anyone can edit Anyone can fork There is no canonical entry for any topic Use WoT to make sense of it
It’s important to note that the first wiki client built on nostr was: https://wikinostr.tijl.xyz/ and judging by its interface, the author was inspired by the Federated Wiki, developed by Ward Cunningham, the original creator of WikiWikiWeb: http://fed.wiki.org/ which was released in 2013. It allowed users to make forks, and the idea “There is no canonical entry for any topic” was already implemented in it in 2013. It is very important to know the origins of these ideas.

Releases
0.0.4 (2024-02-27)
- Search! Wikifreedia now supports NIP-50 full-text search. There was no relay indexing wiki entries for full text-search, so I wrote a NIP-50 relay to serve this function. It’s, obviously, open-source so anyone can run it.
0.0.3 (2024-02-26)
- Merge/fork functionality – you can now easily propose your changes to someone’s wiki entry to have them merged. If they do you can later “delete” and defer your entry on that topic to them.
This is a useful flow to modify someone’s entry without having to maintain your new copy.
